Last week I had planned to meet up with one of my best friends, Melissa Blair, who lives in an apartment over on Alki Beach near Seattle for dinner and hanging out at her place later that night. I was working that morning and got off around 4, so I headed over to the Alki Tully's to wait for her until she got off of work in an hour or so. As I was waiting I called my mom to chat and found out that they had just picked Alyssa and Kai up and were on the West Seattle Bridge on their way over to have an early dinner at Spuds and take a walk afterward, and non of us knew that the other was going to Alki that day!! It was perfect timing since I still had to wait for Melissa to get home, so I sat with them while they ate and then we went on a walk along the beach....and of course Buddy was there too!
After I hung out with them for awhile, i walked over to Melissa's apartment and we walked across the street to Alki Bakery and got sandwiches for dinner that we ate across the street on a picnic bench. After talking for awhile we went back to her place and made a homemade peach cobbler, with fresh cut peaches...so delicious!!! While we waited for that to bake we watched a few episodes of Sex and the City and enjoyed our dessert!! it was such a fun and needed girls night, and day with the fam!!
